Bode gets out of prison in Fire Country season 2, here's how

Whether you're a viewer who likes to skip ahead so you know how long it'll be before you reach a huge game changer in a TV show, or you're a fan who needs a refresher, I've got you covered when it comes to Bode's release from prison on Fire Country.
The moment happens in season 2, episode 9, "No Future, No Consequences," so if you're still back in season 1, hold tight because the finale for the freshman run is about to upend your and Bode's world but at least you know the ship will be righted down the road. In the eyes of the state of California, Bode earns his freedom while working the Lazarus campaign fire that's threatening to take out the town of Welles, population 55,000.
He and the Three Rock crew were given leave by the governor to go assist Cal Fire's efforts even though she still wasn't decided on whether or not she was going to close the fire camp. See, ever since it was learned that drugs had been running through the facility, Three Rock had been on thin ice. Rudy Varda running away and then being accused of murdering the sheriff and attempting to kill a lieutenant in episode 6, "Alert the Sheriff," didn't help matters even though Rudy was returned to camp and found innocent when it came to the attack.
Bode's uncle Luke had persuaded the governor to only close Three Rock and leave the con camp fire program intact. He'd done so without informing anyone of what he'd done which blew back in his face spectacularly. Bode made one of his patented impassioned speeches after helping to contain a fire at the firefighters' gala which seemed to move the governor but it would be his and Three Rock's feats that would convince her to not close the facility.
For his part, Bode did what was asked of him but when his father, Vince, was caught in a blaze along with another firefighter, he lept into action. He'd only just recently learned from Gabriela that his dad was hiding a heart condition and that's what caused Vince to pass out after he was able to get a distress call through and could speak to him, Gabriela, Sharon, and the fire campaign chief.
Once they were able to secure hoses to quell the fire enough to create a hole for Jake, who'd been on the scene at the time, and Bode to run through to get Vince and the other firefighter, that's exactly what both men did. They risked their lives and saved them.
Seeing the lengths that Bode was willing to go to save his father and another person, the campaign fire chief put in for him to receive an extraordinary conduct credit. It came through just as they all arrived back at Station 42 and was a surprise to Bode and his family. Vince was the one to give him the good news, explaining that the credit would shave 12 months off his prison sentence. Since Bode had 11 months left, he was declared having served his time and could go home.
