CBS will switch up its Sunday schedule on March 10, 2024 (Here’s what’s airing)
The week of Monday, March 4, 2024, CBS has switched around its schedule for many of its shows including Sunday, March 10. The whole week has looked different for a couple of reasons - either to make room for political coverage or the fact that the network likely wants all of its shows to air their season finales at around the same time in May 2024. That means skipping some weeks, which many of us broadcast TV viewers are used to.
Sundays have been reserved for new episodes of The Equalizer season 4, Tracker starring Justin Hartley, and CSI: Vegas season 3 since each of the respective dramas have made their returns after a long wait, and Tracker debuted and has been a great success! Only a few episodes of each of these projects have aired so far, and we're going to have to wait an extra week to see new episodes on March 17, 2024 instead.
Instead of this usual trio, the CBS Sunday block has two hours of 60 Minutes starting at 7 p.m. ET and running until 9 p.m. ET. 60 Minutes usually airs one episode at 7 p.m. ET, but this week we're getting two. Then at the top of the hour, reruns of So Help Me Todd (which airs new episodes on Thursdays) will take the remaining time slots. Those episodes begin at 9 p.m. ET and go on until 11 p.m. ET. You can expect to see season 1 episode 16, "Twelve Worried Persons," followed by episode 18 of the first season, "Gloom and Boom."
- Preempted: The Equalizer season 4, new episode March 17
- Preempted: Tracker, new episode March 17
- Preempted: CSI: Vegas season 3, new episode March 17
- Airing instead: 60 Minutes at 7 p.m. ET to 9 p.m. ET
- Airing instead: So Help Me Todd at 9 p.m. ET to 11 p.m. ET
The Equalizer season 4 episode 4, "All Bets are Off," will air on March 17 at 8 p.m. ET. A synopsis for the new episode has not been released yet. This will be followed up by Tracker episode 5, "St. Louis" at 9 p.m. ET. Colter will help a "convicted murder's teenage daughter" find a missing witness who might be able to prove her father's innocence, per the synopsis.
Finally at 10 p.m. ET that night, get ready for the CSI: Vegas team in season 3 episode 4, "Health and Wellness." The group will investigate the death of a man who was in Vegas for a health and wellness convention, per the synopsis. Elsewhere, Allie Rajan gets trapped in the basement of an abandoned hospital after a "fiery explosion."
