Apple TV+ is kicking off the year with an enticing character-driven drama, Criminal Record. Set in London, the series follows June Lenker (Cush Jumbo), a Detective Sergeant at a call center assigned to investigate an anonymous call. The caller never provided her name, but startled the operator enough to pass the call along for investigation.

Immediately, the attention of audiences is captured, but there are even more details about the case that surface that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats! Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty (Peter Capaldi) is a key player in the series as we learn he knows more than he is sharing. Is he the villain in the story or is the detective protecting his legacy?

Now, Apple TV+ may not offer as many shows or movies as bigger streamers such as Netflix or Hulu, but we believe it is all about quality and not quantity. Wouldn't you agree? And if that's the case, you're going to want to watch Criminal Record.

Apple TV+ will stream a new episode of Criminal Record each week

The streamer is releasing the first two episodes of Criminal Record first thing Wednesday, Jan. 10, right around 3 a.m. ET. These are episode 1, titled "Emergency Caller," and episode 2, titled "Two Calls," both will be available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+.

After Jan. 10, one new episode will drop weekly on the platform at the same time, Wednesdays at 3 a.m. ET. Criminal Record is set to feature a total of 8 episodes, so, after the first two chapters are released on Jan. 10, one new episode will drop until the finale on Feb. 21.
