The time has come to celebrate our favorite daytime stars and behind-the-scenes talent as their work in soaps, talk shows, game shows, and more is honored and awarded! The 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, taking place at the historic Westin Bonaventure Los Angeles and is hosted once more by Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner (both nominated this year!), airs Friday, June 7, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

2024 Lifetime Achievement honorees

Melody Thomas Scott and Edward J. Scott: The married duo have been a staple of daytime television for decades. Scott for her role as Nikki Newman, spanning a 45 year legacy on The Young and the Restless, and J. Scott as a six time Daytime Emmy Award-winning producer. He's currently the supervising producer for The Bold and the Beautiful. Between the pair of them, they have a combined 93 years of contributions to the Daytime TV community.

Lidia Bastianich: For 25 years, Bastianich has created and hosted Daytime Emmy Award-winning cooking programs and entertained the masses with her culinary talents. She's a best-selling cookbook author, successful restaurateur, and a celebrated chef whose food and attention to community, family, and the way cuisine brings people of all backgrounds together is beloved.

2024 Gold Circle and Silver Circle Inductees

The following Daytime professionals will be honored during the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Award ceremony for their enduring contributions to daytime television. Each inductee has "performed distinguished service within the television industry, setting standards for achievement, mentoring, leadership and professional accolades for 50 or 25 years."

Gold Circle honorees

  • Jerome Dobson (writer) - Guiding Light, As the World Turns, General Hospital, and Santa Barbara
  • A Martínez (actor) - The Bay and Santa Barbara
  • Suzanne Rogers (actress) - Days of Our Lives

Silver Circle honorees

  • Patricia Denney (former hair and makeup department head) - The Young and the Restless
  • Kathleen Finch, chairman and CEO, US Networks, Warner Brothers Discovery
  • Linda Grand (set master props) - The Bold and the Beautiful
  • Janet Spellman-Drucker (co-executive producer) - Days of Our Lives
