Eric gets a clean bill of health and wants to celebrate (Bold and the Beautiful recap Feb. 5, 2024)

The Bold and the Beautiful has started the week of Feb. 5 on the light side, but we have a lot to look forward to in the coming days, according to the spoilers, so a slow start isn't too bad. We did receive good news today as Eric, Donna, Ridge, and Brooke gathered at the Forrester Mansion, waiting for Finn to arrive. He had a health update to share with the patriarch.

Eric has hit every medical marker they've wanted him to hit and then some. Finn and the rest of his team at the hospital are amazed by his recovery and how much progress he has made. He was, however, advised to continue to take things day-by-day and get plenty of rest. Eric promised he would, but he is ready to get back to work. With his hands steady again, he has been able to sketch on his own once more and that's what he'd been doing since the morning.

When Finn departed, Eric floated the idea of throwing a shindig. His family was hesitant, urging him not to overexert himself, but he didn't think he would. Eric explained that he wants to throw a party to celebrate his clean bill of health, his family that's supported him through this ordeal, and Donna who has stood by him through everything. It's last minute, but who can come will come.

He made sure to call his grandson, RJ, to invite him. RJ was still basking in the afterglow of his night with Luna which was magical for both of them. It was also Luna's first time which made their moment together truly special for her especially since they're in love with each other. On the call, Eric extended his invitation to Luna as well and impressed upon his grandson to never let her go. He's been a big champion of theirs and that's only intensified over the months.

Luna, surprisingly, seemed taken aback that she was invited to the Forrester's family event. She's done nothing but interact with the Forresters in both a professional and personal capacity, so it would have been weird if she was expected to sit this party out. She won't be sitting it out though so the bubble of love these two are in is set to continue for the foreseeable future.

Having a small moment alone, Eric once again spoke to Ridge again his time in the after life. There's a wistfulness to the way he describes it that his son may start picking up on soon. But Eric is determined to make his family feel the way he did when he was briefly reunited with Stephanie and surrounded by his loved ones that had passed before him. He said he felt nothing but love and that's exactly how he wants his family to feel.
