Spoilers ahead for this week's The Bold and the Beautiful episodes

Hope and Finn's friendship continues to be teased by The Bold and the Beautiful. The week of Sept. 23 is no exception as they're set to have a moment that will likely be innocuous but still rankles Steffy's nerves nonetheless.

According to the spoilers, the soap has yet another Brooke's Bedroom event planned for the audience. The past two times the brand has been the focus major moments happened. When they were in Monaco, we were introduced to Rebecca Budig's iteration of Taylor Hayes. Then, the party at Eric's in celebration of the line, was the scene of Hope's faux-pas when she planted an unwanted kiss on Finn.

The pair have seemingly buried the hatch because on Friday, Sept. 27's episode of the soap, they're going to be bonding. With Kaleo's frontman Jökull Júliusson on deck to perform during Brooke's photoshoot, Finn and Hope's shared interest in the band becomes apparent. Granted, friends tend to having things in common, that's why people grow close. The problem here is that "closeness" is supposed to be off the table for these two.

Steffy warned Hope that if she even caught a whiff of impropriety, HFTF would be done at Forrester Creations. Knowing that the Co-CEO isn't bluffing, Hope had planned to keep her distance from Finn. She'd even said as much to him when they bumped into each other at Il Giardino. But music is a powerful thing. If they're vibing to Júliusson's song "Way Down We Go," well, we could see Hope wanting to share in the moment with her friend and Finn not seeing a problem with that.

Obviously, Steffy's going to take issue because she told Hope that she wanted her to stay away from her husband. I'm assuming that means she expects that the duo's friendship should be over and that they need to be the equivalent of two strangers who politely say hello to one another and keep it moving. That's not going to happen particularly with Brooke hoping that Finn might be able to smooth things over between Steffy and Hope.

To be honest, he needs to stay out of it. I don't agree that Hope's kiss is the reason why Steffy was put in a position to be held hostage by Luna. People make their own decisions. Still, it is true that at no point has it worked out in Finn's favor to interfere whenever Steffy's feuding with either Hope or Sheila. In fact, all it winds up doing is straining their marriage and him having to apologize once again for not listening to her.

Sure, Hope and Finn liking the same band is low hanging fruit. It's so low that it's dropped off the vine. But considering this is the same soap that had Steffy yelling, "You hugged her, Finn," multiple times after she learned he and Sheila embraced, I wouldn't put it past the writers to make a big deal out of this interaction for a good soapy line delivery.
