FOX TV schedule (May 6-12): Farmer Wants a Wife, Next Level Chef, and Grimsburg season finales

FOX is gearing up to premiere four season finales this week: Next Level Chef, Farmer Wants a Wife, Grimsburg, and Animal Control. Of course, that means that viewers are in for the conclusion to a heated competition on one of Gordon Ramsay's hit cooking shows, hearts to be broken out in the country, a ridiculous mystery, and an upend investigation.

More reality series are also nearing their ends. MasterChef Junior's semifinal round will see the chefs attempting to recreate famous duck dishes by Ramsay himself. So You Think You Can Dance's contestants are expected to get narrowed down to the Top 4. And The Masked Singer is set to air its quarter finals. Talk about a tense week!

But, of course, if you need to unwind and laugh, FOX's animation block has you covered. On The Simpsons, Homer will be up against "tipping culture" and The Great North will include an investigation into a woman whose grave is simply marked "Wife." Monday, May 6

• MasterChef Junior: "Gordon Demo" - It's the semi-final of season 9 and the four remaining chefs have quite the task they have to meet. They'll be cooking with Gordon Ramsay and they'll need to match his pace, precision, and passion while recreating his duck dishes in real time. The pressure is on but whoever can rise to the occasion will be that much closer to winning!
• So You Think You Can Dance: "Challenge #4: On Tour" - The competition is getting fiercer as the Top 5 dancers are headed into the tour challenge. They'll be taking part in two performances that have been choreographed by Fullout Cortland and Kyle Hanagami for T-Pain. If they can't find a way to stand out whilst meeting the energy of the artist they're supporting, they'll find themselves in the hot seat and dancing for their lives in the hopes of not getting eliminated.

Tuesday, May 7

• The Cleaning Lady: "From the Ashes" - As Russo's team is headed toward a break in their case, Jorge and Nadia will be working together to use her connections. Speaking of pairs, Ramona will be weighing a decision she has to make regarding an offer Thony makes. Whatever she chooses, it's going to change their dynamic.
• Alert: Missing Persons Unit: "Paul Miller" - It's an out of this world case for the MPU this week as they're in the middle of an investigation that involves a young boy who is sure his father was taken by aliens when they were camping. The episode will also see Jason and Nikki tapping Mike for help on getting access to Braun's computer files. We'll be seeing Kemi and Helen heading out into the field together as well.

Wednesday, May 8

• The Masked Singer: "Final Four" - It's the quarter finals and the audience at home, and in the studio, are expecting blowout performances including a rendition of Rita Ora's song, "Praising You!" from the remaining contestants. We can also anticipate covers of "Price Tag," "I'm Yours," "Get On Your Feet," and "Unforgettable."
• Animal Control: "Beagles and Lemurs" - A wrench is thrown in Frank's investigation when an unexpected twist threatens to put its conclusion, and therefore his triumph, in question. Meanwhile, Emily will be realizing that she does still have feelings for Shred. Awkward!

Thursday, May 9

• Next Level Chef: "Final Level" - $250,000 is on the line as the final three chefs compete in the finale where the winner will earn the coveted title of Next Level Chef, the cash prize, and a year long mentorship.
• Farmer Wants a Wife: "The Final Decisions" - It's time for the farmers to choose the women that they're going to spend the rest of their lives with. The decision to break someone's heart won't be an easy one but they'll soon be walking into an exciting future with whomever they choose.

Sunday, May 12

• The Simpsons: "The Tipping Point" - When Homer gets it into his mind that "tipping culture" has gotten out of hand, he loses it a bit as he throws himself into the issue.
• Krapopolis: "The Tyrannis Crown Affair" - A competition is a foot as Deliria and Hippocampus pair up to defeat Hermes in the All Valley Create a Creature Tournament. Also, Stupendous will be spending the episode looking for a thief after he's tasked by Tyrannis to track the person down.
• The Great North: "Doctor? No! Adventure" - The kids are concerned about Beef's health so they push him to go to a doctor. Honeybee, Judy, and Aunt Dirt dive deep into researching a mystery woman after they come across a grave marked "Wife."
• Grimsburg: "The Danish Dilemma" - In the season finale, Marvin is more worried about his missing danish than he is about murder since it's at a low. His search for the boysenberry danish, however, puts him on the trail of an "explosive" case that no one expected.
