General Hospital's 60th Anniversary special start time and how to watch
Fans of General Hospital will have the opportunity to stroll down memory lane when ABC airs the show’s 60th anniversary special on January 4, 2024. As the network's longest-running soap opera, the show is filled with so many characters and memories for audiences to dive into. What time is it on and where can you watch the special?
With more than 15,000 episodes under its belt, having celebrated the milestone in 2022, there are so many memorable moments to catch up on when it comes to General Hospital's six-decade long run.
General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling will be filled with episode clips from past episodes over its long run. The special will be available to watch on Thursday, January 4 at 10/9c. In addition, there will also be appearances from past and current performers.
These appearances include Finola Hughes, Maurice Bernard, Genie Francis, Laura Wright, Rick Springfield, Amber Tamblyn, and Emma Samms. Plus, Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy will also be joining the special. We may also get to see clips from stars of the soap who have passed on, such as Tyler Christopher and Jacklyn Zeman.
Currently, the show is in the midst of preparing to pay tribute to the late Jacklyn Zeman, who played the beloved Bobbie Spencer since 1977 until her death in 2023. Those episodes are slated to air on Jan. 10 and 11 as they pay tribute to her character.
The anniversary clip special will also share special moments such as behind the scenes looks, a fan tribute, and bloopers. In addition to watching the 60th anniversary special live on ABC, the anniversary special will be available on Hulu the day after it airs
