Super Bowl LVIII kicks off this Sunday, Feb. 11, and will see the San Francisco 49ers take on defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. Hidden Remote is beyond excited to watch the game, but we would be lying if we said we're not also looking forward to the Super Bowl Halftime show (maybe even more than the game).

Whether you are cheering for your team, the sport, or were dragged to a Super Bowl watch party, our eyes will be on the most popular stage in the country. That's right, we will be guled to the screen during the Halftime Show performance. This year, singer-songwriter (and, arguably, the King of R&B) Usher is taking the stage. Not only are we excited to see Usher rule one of the most popular stages, but we're curious to see who (if anyone) Usher is bringing to the stage with him. If one thing's for sure, the Super Bowl Halftime Show is always full of surprises! But how long is Usher's Halftime Show set to last?

When it comes to live TV, you never know what will happen. And that's part of what makes it fun. However, the Super Bowl Halftime Show likes to have a tight schedule. After all, the game needs to go on. That said, though there is no set time for how long the halftime show needs to be, the performance typically runs for about 13 minutes, but Usher is giving us just a couple of bonus minutes!

Usher's Super Bowl Halftime Show is set to run for 15 minutes

Entertainment Weekly broke the news, Usher shares that his halftime show performance will run for 15 minutes. Now, an additional two minutes may not seem like much to you. But in the world of music, it can make all the difference. And if there's one thing Usher knows very well how to do, it's entertain.

According to the source, Usher did not want to cut what he had planned, and instead scored two additional minutes. Guys, two minutes means so many possibilities! That's an extra song or dance or even a cameo. Who do you hope Usher will have join him on the stage this Sunday?

We know that a lot can happen in only 15 minutes on that stage. Still, how amazing would it be if the Halftime Show ran for at least 30 minutes? It would really be like a mini-concert. How long do you think the Super Bowl Halftime Show should last? One of the reasons it can't go on for too long (not even the 30 minutes we wish it ran for) is the set up and clean up. Don't forget, the Halftime Show takes place in the middle of the field. I can't even imagine what goes into cleaning up the field in time for the game to go on as if nothing happened. This is why the commercial break is so long before and after the Halftime Show.

Rumored Halftime Show guest performers

Nothing is official, we are going to have to wait and watch it live to learn who Usher will bring on stage. However, here are the rumors circulating online... BBC shares that the singer-songwriter hinted that he will be joined by artists who are featured in some of his hit records. Some artists that come to mind, are Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Lil' Jon.

The Super Bowl LVIII will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. This is the first time a Super Bowl has taken place in the state of Nevada. Fans can watch the game at 6:30 p.m. PST on the CBS network. No cable? No problem! If you want to watch the game, it will also stream on Paramount+ at the same time it airs on CBS.
