Luna Nozawa has been on cloud nine since she found out that Bill Spencer is her father. And, she's been so sure that nothing and no one can get in the way of her family's happiness but this wouldn't be The Bold and the Beautiful if the rug weren't yanked out from underneath her. So, of course, on Thursday, July 11's episode, Hollis found something of Tom's at Il Giardino that could ruin all the joy Luna, Poppy, and Bill have been experiencing together.

Admittedly, I thought we were just made aware of his and Luna's friendship because he was about to die and someone outside of the restaurant needed to mourn him besides possibly Brooke. While that's still possible, it's likely the impetus for this new bond in the plot boils down to Hollis being the one to put Luna on the path to finding out about her mom's past romance with Tom.

Poppy has been keeping that nugget of information private which is her right but that doesn't mean doing so won't have consequences. Especially since she thought it was a strong possibility that Tom could be Luna's father hence why she refused to tell her daughter who her dad could be. Tom was convinced that she was his but the paternity test Bill took says otherwise.

I'm still not of the mind that The Bold and the Beautiful writers are going to walk the results back but Poppy's decision to hide that possibility is still likely to cause drama. Remember, Bill and Luna lost time together and Poppy's the reason why that happened. I don't see the two of them just telling her that was okay just because she was scared Tom could be Luna's father.

Hollis finding Tom's bag in the storage closet and then discovering his letters to Poppy could be the plot point we need to get the show on the road with this storyline. Even if he does wind up being killed over what he found, or by coincidence since we don't know if we're dealing with a serial killer or someone with a vendetta, those letters should play a part in this story. They're the key to bringing Poppy's past under the microscope to be examined.

The question is though, will Hollis try to tell Luna or Poppy about the letters? Or will he only share the information with Deacon? It's also possible that Tom had attempted to write Luna as well and Poppy sent his letters back.

What's great about this storyline is that it involves a murder mystery but it's also very messy due to Poppy's decades long omission of the truth and the fact that she's still keeping Luna in the dark! I can't wait to see how this all comes together. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more news and coverage.
