Fear The Walking Dead

This was the first spinoff of The Walking Dead. In the series, audiences saw the beginnings of the zombie outbreak and how the characters fought to survive in the setting of Los Angeles, California. Eventually, the series would run concurrently with The Walking Dead after season 3, and we would see the characters moving to other areas, including Mexico. The eighth and final season finished airing in 2023.

While some of the episodes are available on AMC+, the full series is on Amazon if you want to rewatch the entire series.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond

The short-lived spinoff only lasted two seasons and introduced us to a group of teenagers ten years after the outbreak occurred. They are described as having been sheltered throughout their lives, but then they are led on a journey to look for their father. The first season is on AMC+, while both seasons are available on Apple+.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live

The latest spinoff, and one of the most anticipated, will focus on Michonne’s search for Rick, who has been taken into the fold of the Civic Republic Military. It’s been described as an “epic love story” and will feature the couple reuniting after years apart. The show is due to premiere on AMC on Feb. 25.

Andrew Lincoln recently described the show as holding true to his character’s journey in looking for his family. “That DNA is very much in this story- but we wanted to sort of make it a bit more operatic.”
