911: Lone Star season 5 finally has a premiere date, but the news came with some bad. There’s a cast change coming.

We already knew that we would lose one character in the fifth season. Sierra McClain is not returning. This means that there’s a dispatcher spot that needs to be covered, but nobody can do it as amazingly as Grace.

McClain is not the only actor leaving the series. We’ll say goodbye to a member of the 126 in the 911: Lone Star season 5 premiere.

Who will leave the 126 in the 911: Lone Star season 5 premiere?

Jim Parrack is also leaving the series. TVLine confirms that Judd will resign from the 126. He needs to take care of his now-disabled son. This was something mentioned at the end of the fourth season. Judd looked at taking early retirement as a way to spend time at home with his son, who now needs that support.

The fourth season did leave things a little open-ended. There was a way for him to return, but it looks like Judd’s mind is made up.

Those who worried about what Grace’s exit meant for the couple can breathe a sign of relief. I did fear that the only way for Grace and Judd to be separated was for Grace’s death, but with Judd also coming out of the show, we can just believe that they are working together to look after Wyatt.

Who will become lieutenant of the 126?

Owen now has to find a new lieutenant to take Judd’s place. Marjan and Paul both want that promotion, and Owen will need to choose between them. That’s not going to be easy when both have proven to be excellent firefighters and take command when needed.

Of course, we’ll get some Tarlos drama, because what is 911: Lone Star without that? Carlos is obsessed with solving his father’s murder, and I can’t really blame him for that. However, this threatens to take over his whole life. TK is sure to be there for his husband, but that’s going to be made harder by someone from his past coming into the picture. Is this an ex from New York?

We’ll also get to see more of Tommy in the new season. She thinks that she is ready to move forward with Pastor Trevor in their relationship. Of course, that road is filled with obstacles. At least it’s not Trevor’s daughter causing issues, but that doesn’t mean everyone has to be happy that Tommy is happy. What about her daughters?
