No, Lisa Frankenstein is not streaming (but here's where it eventually will)

Horror comedy Lisa Frankenstein is gory-ish and funny, but underneath it there's a sweet monstrous story too! Starring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse, you can already see their onscreen chemistry just from the trailer. Even if they are kind of going on a murder spree. The movie is out in theaters now, but where will it stream eventually?

The film debuted Feb. 9, 2024 on the big screens. Right now, that's the only spot where you can head over and watch the production. However, the good news is that it will come to streaming eventually. Lisa Frankenstein will stream on Peacock after theaters. That's because Focus Features and Universal Pictures handled production and distribution of the movie, which are owned by NBCUniversal. And the company owns Peacock. So yay!

Right now it's unfortunately difficult to say when Lisa Frankenstein will be added to Peacock after its theatrical run. Universal Pictures has added films as soon as 45 days following its time in cinemas. But big box office hits like Oppenheimer, it remained on the big screens for around seven months. The Oscar-nominated film begins streaming Feb. 16 on Peacock. And so right now I think we'll have to wait and see how well the horror comedy does. Hopefully the streamer won't make us wait too long!

Lisa Frankenstein follows "misunderstood teenager" Lisa. She has a what some would call weird crush on a young gentleman who died in 1837, per the synopsis. She tends to his grave, and one day makes a wish that they could be together. And what do you know? He comes alive! But, Frankenstein style. The two "embark on a murderous journey" to get him the body parts he needs to perhaps come to a life in a better way. For the full cast list, click here!
