Love is Blind season 6: Lies, love triangles -- and is that Megan Fox?!
By Sandy C.
The Netflix reality dating series Love is Blind season 6 has arrived! The first six episodes are available to stream with more on the way next week! Season 5 only sees two couples make it to their wedding day. It's a pretty uneventful season, so fans were eager to watch season 6, hoping for a drama-packed season -- and boy does it not disappoint!
Love is Blind season 6 is full of lies, toxic men, and love triangles. It's a chaotic mess we can't look away from. Seriously, I need the next batch of episodes ASP! Season 6 episodes 7-9 will be available to stream on the platform next week on Wednesday, Feb. 21. In the meantime, let's break down and untangle the mess that is Love is Blind season 6, beginning with the villain of the season, Matthew.
Matthew, the Love is Blind villain of season 6
Season 6 participant Matthew is a very interesting character, and I don't mean this in a good way. Matthew makes is clean that he is not there to make friends, which is fine. But, the entire time we see him with the other guys, Matthew acts as if he is forced to be there. He's rude to everyone there. Needless to say, none of the guys appear to like Matthew, either.
In the pods, Matthew enters each date with a notebook packed with questions. This isn't an interview, Matthew. If you don't want to answer his questions, he walks out, if you do answer his question, but he doesn't like the answer, he's out. If you don't talk enough, he's no longer interested. Oh, and if you talk too much, he also no longer cares. But the icing on the cake? Matthew is a liar. And a big one, too!
Matthew found himself in a love triangle with AD and Amber. We don't know what these women "see" in Matthew but to each their own! However, we quickly learn that Matthew has been lying to both AD and Amber, feeding them the same lies- word for word, too! And when AD confronts him, Matthew's lies continue as he cannot own up to them. We're so over this man. Let's hope we don't have to see him again in the coming episodes.
Love triangles are a mess we can't look away from
So, we've got Matthew, AD, and Amber. The latter ends up leaving the show after learning Matthew was not being truthful. AD confronted Matthew, but stayed on the show because she started to lean more towards Clay, anyway. Good riddance, Matthew! What do you think about Clay and AD? We're rooting for this couple!
Another love triangle was between Jeramy, Laura, and Sarah Ann. The entire time in the pods, Jeramey felt conflicted between Laura and Sarah Ann. Ultimately, Jeramey decided to go with the woman he felt a stronger connection with, Laura. The couple is off to a shaky start, though. Will they make it to the altar? Only time will tell.
Finally, we have Jimmy, Jessica, and Chelsea (and also Trevor, so a love quadrangle?). And before you do a double-take, no, that is not Megan Fox, that's Chelsea. Sorry, jokes aside, Chelsea should not have told Jimmy that Megan Fox is her celebrity lookalike. It's a bold claim, and I believe this played a huge part in Jimmy's decision. After Jimmy meets Chelsea, he tells the camera that Chelsea "definitely lied to me on...how she looked. Chelsea told me she looks like Megan Fox." Jimmy insists that it doesn't matter to him, but we're not so sure. As for Jessica, she is left heartbroken after learning that Jimmy picked Chelsea over her. And, personally, I think Trevor is a better match for Chelsea.
