Updated: Aug. 22, 2024 - We're a month out from the launch of Fall TV and I've got to say, here at Hidden Remote we can't be anymore jazzed especially since NBC's schedule boasts the Queen of Country's return to comedy!

Reba McEntire is set to star in Happy's Place, a series that'll see her reuniting with Melissa Peterman in a plot that's likely to be as heart-warming as it is hilarious. McEntire plays Bobbie, a woman who upon inheriting her father's tavern learns that she must share ownership with Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), the half-sister she never knew she had.

This sitcom isn't the only new gut busting program NBC has set to launch. They also have a mockumentary style workplace comedy by the name of St. Denis Medical set to premiere as well. The show will take us inside an Oregon hospital that's both understaffed and underfunded much to the distress of the medical professionals providing care in the facility. Still, they do their best for their patients even if it means their sanity is barely holding on.

As for new dramas, Zachary Quinto stars as Oliver Wolf in Brilliant Minds, a medical program that draws inspiration from the life of Oliver Sacks, a world famous author and physician. Wolf is described as a "larger-than-life" neurologist with a crack team of interns who are all dedicated to exploring the human mind. But mixed in with the show's portrayal of their scientific endeavors will be storytelling surrounding the character's personal relationships and mental health.

What else is on the way? Check out the full schedule below including premiere dates for NBC's fall shows and specials!

Coming to NBC for the 2024-2025 TV season

Now don't be alarmed by Law and Order Thursdays suffering a cut not only in its time block but also in the loss of one of its titles. Law and Order: Organized Crime didn't get canceled. It has been renewed for a fifth season, said season just won't air on NBC. The Stabler-led series has been added to Peacock's roster (this could be a good thing for the show!). In its place, Found's second season has slid into the 10 p.m. slot.

The network's announcement of its schedule also came with information on what we can expect for its holiday slate and specials that are on the way including a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Wicked film adaptation. Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and the cast of the movie will be giving us a peak at the magic they imbued into the film.

The midseason is an interesting one. Of course, we'll be in for the return of the scripted series that'd been off on winter break. But we can also count on a 50th anniversary special for Saturday Night Live along with a 10 part event series called The Americas. It'll be narrated by Tom Hanks with music by Hans Zimmer. The wildlife documentary charts the "home to the largest variety of life on the planet" which is North and South America.

2025 will see the return of Deal or No Deal Island for its second season along with two new series. Destination X is a reality competition that combines an adventure, immersive gameplay, and a guessing game. The Hunting Party is a procedural starring Melissa Roxburgh that follows investigators who work to find and catpure the most dangerous killers in the country.
