Peacock won't be the only place to stream all of Suits come July! (where to watch the hit series)
Soon, fans of Suits will finally be able stream all nine seasons on Netflix! Find out when the final season of the hit drama hits the streamer to bring the smash success to a close!
It’s rare for a long canceled show to enjoy greater popularity than before, but Suits is doing it. Premiering on the USA Network in 2011, Suits focused on Mike (Patrick J. Adams), a college dropout who’s also a legal genius with a photographic memory. He manages to land a job for Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), a top Manhattan attorney. The pair work together on major cases while hiding Mike’s secret.
The show was a hit with a fine cast of Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, and, of course, Meghan Markle as Mike's rival turned wife. It continued even when Adams and Markle left in season 7 with new cast members including Emmy-winner Katherine Heigl. The show wrapped up in 2019 after nine seasons and 134 episodes.
Like other shows owned by NBC Universal, Suits is available on Peacock, which doesn't get as many subscribers as Netflix but still has a good library. The show, however, didn't pop on streaming until it was licensed by another streamer.
In 2023 when the blue sky drama’s first 8 seasons were dropped on Netflix and suddenly became the most-watched series on the streamer. The huge rush of popularity has led to talk of a spin-off and a possible revival. However, the final season was only available on Peacock, to the annoyance of fans but thankfully that’s changing.
When does Suits season 9 come to Netflix?
The show will debut the ninth and final season on July 1. The 10 episode final season has the gang adjusting to Robert taking the fall for some issues and facing disbarment. Also, Harvey and Donna are finally together while Louis adjusts to fatherhood.
Suit’s final season was short but good, with Adams making a return and Katherine Heigl, Amanda Schule, and Dulé Hill good additions. We still get the good legal cases, the personal drama, some comedy and great character growth. There's also the setup for Jessica to depart for her short-lived Pearson spin-off. It all culminates in a terrific wedding finale to wrap it up nicely.
So fans of Suits old and new can finally enjoy the last year of the show on July 1 as a reminder of just how big this show was.
