Fans of Prison Break will be excited to know that the 2005 series is back streaming on Netflix. The show aired for four seasons before it ended, before ultimately being revived for just a few short episodes in 2017. If you followed along with the show from the beginning, then this is a great time to look back at the series, which starred Wentworth Miller. For new fans who might be learning about the series and actors involved, who was part of the cast and where are they now?

The show followed Miller’s character, Michael Scofield, as he plans to get his brother off of death row. Lincoln Burrows was sent to prison for a crime he did not commit and his brother is determined to set him free. 

Each episode followed his efforts to free his brother using an intricate tattoo on his body to help guide the escape. Prison Break also had plenty of talented people in the cast to round out this prison crime drama.

Wentworth Miller

Miller was born on June 2, 1972 making him 33 years old when the show premiered on August 29, 2005. He has also appeared in television shows such as The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as Leonard Snart. He is now 52 years old.

Dominic Purcell

Born on February 17, 1970, Purcell portrayed Michael’s brother Lincoln and was 35 when the show debuted.  Now 55 years old, Purcell has many credits to his name including Superhero Fight Club, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Confidential Informant.

Amaury Nolasco

Amaury Nolasco was born on December 24, 1970, making him 34 when the show debuted in 2005. He played Fernando Sucre, who would become Michael’s cellmate in the series. Besides Prison Break, Nolasco has also appeared in Transformers, Rizzoli & Isles, and A Good Day to Die Hard. He is currently 53 years old.

Robert Knepper

Robert Knepper was born on July 8, 1959 and portrayed notorious prisoner Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell in throughout the series. He was 46 when he starred in the series and also has credits for Hit Man, The Hunger Games, and Hitman. He is currently 65 years old.

Sarah Wayne Callies

Born on June 1, 1977, Callies was 28 when the show premiered. She is also recognized for her role as Lori Grimes on The Walking Dead and has also appeared in The Company You Keep. On Prison Break, she portrayed Dr, Sara Tancredi, who worked at the prison and would be Michael’s love interest. Callies is 47 years old today.

Peter Stormare

Born on August 27, 1953, Stormare was 52 years old when he portrayed John Abruzzi during the first season, with some appearances in later seasons. Abruzzi was the Don of a crime family and was feared and respected within the walls of the prison. Stormare, who is currently 71 years old, has also appeared in Armageddon, and Longmire, and has also lent voice work for many video games including The Elder Scrolls. 

Wade Williams

Wade Williams, who was born on December 24, 1961, was 43 years old when the show premiered. He played Bill Bellick, the senior corrections officer, for four seasons. In addition to the series, he also has starred in The Bernie Mac Show, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, and Gangster Squad. Today, he is 62 years old.

Rockmond Dunbar

Born on January 11, 1973, Dunbar was 32 when the show premiered. In addition to his role on Prison Break, he has also starred in Sons of Anarchy, 9-1-1, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. On Prison Break, he portrayed Benjamin "C-Note" Franklin, a prisoner who also was able to acquire things that other prisoners asked him for. Today, he is 51 years old.

Muse Watson

Actor Muse Watson was born on July 20, 1948 and was 57 years old when he began portraying Charles Westmoreland on the series. Westmoreland was also secretly a famous criminal who had eluded the authorities for years. Watson is also best known for portraying Mike Franks on NCIS. Today, he is 76 years old.

Stacy Keach

Born on June 2, 1941, Stacy Keach was 64 when he portrayed Warden Henry Pope, who created a program in the prison that could help prisoners gain work experience. Other credits Keach has to his name include The Bourne Legacy, Nebraska, and Blue Bloods. He is currently 83 years old.
