The Bold and the Beautiful is still in the process of developing its younger cast. With Luna out of the picture, and Electra Forrester on her way, the time is now to set the board for who might give RJ a run for his money in business and in love.

The writers had been toying with the possibility of his cousin, Zende, being a contender as his rival but the story around the two wasn't balanced. While they're both Forrester heirs, Zende wasn't wrong in his belief that Ridge's children get preferential treatment. I wouldn't say that RJ does more so because he's Brooke Logan's son but it's clear he's being groomed to follow in his father's footsteps.

Since there doesn't seem to be any real interest in developing Zende as a worthwhile adversary for RJ, which personally I'm fine with as the writers need to develop the older Forrester's character more and treat him like the grown man he is, it's time for a new rival to be picked at it looks like he's already been chosen.

On Thursday, Sept. 26's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, RJ and Will had their first scene together and let's just say the cousins weren't overjoyed to see one another. Will was in the midst of quickly getting off the phone as their Aunt Donna tried to set him up with a random young lady when RJ walked in. There wasn't necessarily a warm welcome.

In fact, the more the two conversed, the more it became clear that they don't like each other. Will came off pompous and above everything as he tried to call RJ out for not recognizing that Luna was dangerous. RJ reminded him that Bill got the runaround as well, which Will did acknowledge.

When the conversation turned to Will potentially working at Forrester, he didn't seem to take too kindly to RJ saying he'd be surprised if Bill let him take a job anywhere but Spencer Publications. Will said that when the time comes, he'll be making his own decision regarding his employment. He nearly grinned like a wolf at the implication that working at the fashion firm would get under his cousin's skin.

Remember when Zende accused RJ of being entitled? Well, that's definitely Will. I swear that boy drips with it and that's going to become more and more apparent when he's around his peers. But will he have the skillset to back up that cockiness? Or will he fall flat on his face when he's put to the test? That's going to be what's most interesting about where he lands regardless of if its at Forrester or Spencer.

For now, I look forward to more verbal sparring between Will and RJ as the writers flesh out their dynamic and why it seems there is bad blood between the two. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more coverage of The Bold and the Beautiful!
