Ryan Gosling and 7 other actors you may not know can actually sing

"I'm Just Ken" isn't the only song Ryan Gosling has blessed us with -- and he isn't the only star with singing as one of his many talents!

Here at Hidden Remote, we only listen to award-winning music! And this includes, of course, Ryan Gosling's "I'm Just Ken" song from Barbie. Surprisingly, many did not know this, but yes, Gosling really is singing in the movie. Fans will even get to see Gosling perform the hit song live at the Oscars on Sunday, March 10. That's going to be exciting and it is 90% of the reason I'll be watching the 96th Academy Awards.

Barbie isn't the first movie Gosling shows off his singing chops, either. Two other movie favorites that feature Gosling delivering a tune are Blue Valentine and La La Land. Now, I'll be the first to admit musical movies are not my go-to, but I would definitely more watch more of the genre if Gosling had a musical number in them. Who else is not only an incredible actor, but a talented singer? Here are six actors you may not know can actually sing.

Emma Stone

If you already knew that Ryan Gosling can sing, then you're likely aware that so can Emma Stone. Both stars appear in the award-winning movie, La La Land, in which they stretch their pipes and we love every minute of it! Stone also sings in the comedy Easy A. In previous interviews, Stone has admitted that she is not that great of a singer, but she enjoys it. When she auditioned for La La Land, she shared she was very nervous.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Actress, businesswoman, beauty guru...singer? What can't Gwyneth Paltrow do? The movie Duets features the star's real voice. Another movie where you can appreciate Paltrow's voice is Country Song. I have to say, from this list, I find Gwyneth Paltrow the most surprising. Not only because Paltrow rarely sings in her movies, but because she actually has a lovely voice! This is why one would think she'd show her skills more often.

Tom Hiddleston

Ready for another surprise? We have Tom Hiddleston who, with no prior singing experience, learned to sign after being cast to portray Hank Williams in the biopic movie I Saw the Light. The result? Hiddleston unlocked a secret talent. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any other movies where Hiddleston shares his newfound skill.

Reese Witherspoon

Bonus: Joaquin Phoenix.

Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix star as June Cater and Johnny Cash, respectively, in Walk the Line, a Johnny Cash biopic. Not only do Phoenix and Witherspoon share dynamite chemistry, but they can sing pretty well, too! Witherspoon also sings in the animated movie Sing!, where Witherspoon gives her voice to the lovely character Rosita.

Eddie Redmayne

The award-winning movie Les Misérables showcases the singing abilities of many stars, including Eddie Redmayne. The actor shared that he has enjoyed singing since he was a child. I think I speak for us all when I say that we need more movies with Eddie Redmayne singing.

Anne Hathaway

Is anyone actually surprised that Anne Hathaway has a lovely singing voice? I didn't think so. The actress is incredibly talented, Hathaway being able to sing just makes sense. Most notably, Hathaway wows audiences in the movie Les Miserables, particularly with her rendition of the song "I Dreamed a Dream."

Hugh Jackman

Last, but certainly not least, we have Hugh Jackman. Actor, Wolverine himself, and strong pipes? Jackman has it all and he's not afraid to sho off. You may have heard the actor sing in Les Miserables, as well as The Greatest Showman.

Which of these stars did you already kno are actually singing in their movie? Are you surprised by any of these?
