The cost of going to the movies can quickly add up. So, not only can a trip to the movies be expensive, but you are also risking wasting at least two hours of your time if you end up not enjoying the movie.

The solution? Only watch movies on the big-screen if it's one you are super excited about. After all, thanks to the world of streaming, there are so many movies (and shows) available to watch from the comfort of your own home.

Another plus? You don't need to be subscribed to all available streaming platforms. Hidden Remote has compiled a list of new movies coming to Netflix, Peacock, Disney+, and Prime Video. Please note, that there are more than the seven movies below coming to streaming in March 2024, but we selected seven to offer all fans something to watch (including the kiddos at home).

Fan of comedy? We have Prime Video's Ricky Stanicky on the list. Here for thrills and drama? Damsel on Netflix is the one to keep on your radar. Or, perhaps, you missed the critically acclaimed Wonka when it premiered in theaters, well, March is the month to stream it from the comfort of your own home.

Let's kick things off with Spaceman, coming to Netflix on March 1. The movie was released in select theaters on Feb. 22 and getting its streaming debut at the top of the new month! The story follows Adam Sandler as Jakub, an astronaut who is six months into a solitary mission in space. The movie is based on the novel Spaceman of Bohemia, written by Jaroslav Kalfar. Spaceman is rated R for language and also stars Carey Mulligan, Kunal Nayyar, and Paul Dano.

At this time, the sci-fi movie has a fresh score of 71% from critics and 92% from audiences. Both of these scores are very promising! Due to its R-rating, however, it's not a movie for kids. Not to worry, though! Peacock will keep your kids busy with Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate, also streaming on March 1.

In need of a fun comedy? How about Ricky Stanicky on Prime Video? The movie follows three men who have been close friends since childhood. One day, to get out of a sticky situation, they create an imaginary friend by the name of "Ricky Stanicky." This prank is successful, but the pals take things a little too far. When close friends begin to ask to meet the famous Stanicky (who they have been talking about for two decades), the trio hire a washed-up actor to play the role of Ricky Stanicky.

The movie stars Zac Efron, Andrew Santino, and Jermaine Fowler. It is rated R for language, drug content, and some sexual material. Watch the movie on Prime Video for free as part of your subscription beginning March 7.

Finally, I wouldn't be a true Swiftie if I didn't recommend Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version), which is finally making its streaming debut on Disney+ this month! Watch the concert, set to include new songs, on March 15. Another movie headed to streaming after leaving the big screen is Wonka, starring Timothée Chalamet. Need more? Here's the complete list!
