Warning: The following piece contains spoilers from the Station 19 series finale. Only read ahead if you’ve already seen the episode or don’t mind spoilers from the series finale!

Station 19 has officially come to an end and the final episode of the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff more than stuck the landing. After seven seasons, the writers closed the book with an amazing series finale that gave closure to our favorite characters through glimpses into the future.

Via the many flash-forward sequences, fans were given glimpses into what the future holds for each of the characters. These sequences, while brief, gave fans little glimpses into the future and the happiness that awaits the characters in the years ahead.

From the arrival of babies, new love for some, fresh starts in new cities, and even a wedding, these scenes allowed fans to get closure for their favorite characters while still allowing the fans to imagine more stories to be told. These sequences gave us a lot to process and also happened to spoil the future of one major Grey’s Anatomy character in the process!

Station 19 seems to confirm Miranda Bailey doesn’t die on Grey’s Anatomy

If there is one thing we’ve come to expect from Grey’s Anatomy, it’s that no one is safe from being killed off the show; however, Station 19 seems to have confirmed we don’t need to worry about Miranda Bailey being killed off anytime soon!

In the glimpses of Ben’s future that we see in the Station 19 series finale, we get to see Ben and Bailey attending the graduations of their three children including Pru. This flash-forward might have seemed innocent enough, but it also seems to have hinted that Bailey won’t be in any form of danger on Grey’s Anatomy.

Some could say the scenes were simple glimpses of wishful thinking, but the show ends with a time jump that sees Pru joining the Station 19 team working under Maya as Captain and Andy as Chief. Given that Pru was graduating from the Fire Academy in the flash-forward sequence, this seems to hint that the glimpses of Ben and Bailey watching her graduate did occur and that would mean Bailey shouldn’t be in any danger of being killed off Grey’s Anatomy as should be the case.

Bailey has been with the show from the start and she should be there until the end, so knowing that Station 19’s future-looking moments hinted that she lives a long and happy life is what we want to see happen for the show’s most beloved doc!
