Friday, Sept. 13's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful ended on a cliffhanger regarding the fate of the Hope for the Future line. Ridge and Carter had brought the early projections for the brand to Steffy and they didn't look good.

Hope had already been given a quarter to turn things around but the projections made it clear that HFTF still isn't making the profit margins needed to keep the line around. She tried to say that they were just preliminary numbers but, as was pointed out, Carter's never been wrong about what they can expect to bring in from a collection.

As such she turned to pleading her case, asking if she and her team can continue attempting to improve their situation until the end of the quarter. All eyes turned to Steffy who, curiously, looked to be uncomfortable. She's been adamant that she will cut Hope for the Future for the sake of the company if need be but now that that time may be coming up, she didn't have the same fierce expression we've grown used to from the boss lady.

Could Steffy be changing her mind? Possibly! The spoilers for the week of Sept. 16 have her giving Hope shocking news on Monday, Sept. 16 and then issuing a "challening ultimatum" on Tuesday, Sept. 17. This doesn't give the impression that she dropped the axe neither did the preview which didn't show Hope flying off the handle but rather telling Finn it's best they don't hang out.

The about face in the Logan's attitude may be due to Steffy being lenient. But why would the Co-CEO do that? Potentially to ward off Hope falling further into self-destructive tendencies. Steffy already told her rival that she's not going to let her become her mother, Brooke Logan. Taking her line without giving her one last opportunity to fix things would do just that since Hope already believes Steffy has it out for her.

Interestingly, Brooke is set to pay Finn a visit. The spoilers reveal that she's going to be making a confession to him on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Sure, that could be that she's worried about her daughter but it may also have something to do with her belief that Steffy is up to something. In the preview, she tells Finn that she doesn't trust Steffy not to upend Hope's life.

Brooke could be thinking that Steffy is setting Hope up to fail. That her plan is really to let her daughter think that she has a chance to save her line when in reality Steffy has every intention on canceling it regardless of whether HFTF is able to rebound. If that's the case, Brooke truly does see Steffy as that vindictive when she's done nothing to warrant that idea of her character.

We'll have to see what unfolds but it's doubtful Hope's brand is going anywhere for the time being. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more coverage and follow us on X!
