Steffy witnesses a forbidden kiss on Bold and the Beautiful (Aug. 22, 2024)

Steffy has jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire when it comes to messy situations. On today's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, she'd finished laying down the law with Hope on what she wasn't going to tolerate, namely allowing her around Finn by herself. She thought she was through with the drama for now since her position has been made clear but a pop by Bill's mansion changed everything.

She'd come to the Spencer Estate to let Liam know that she was leaving town and that she needs him to take care of their daughter, Kelly. When he assumed that meant she, Finn, and Hayes were going somewhere together, she had to clarify. Of course, this came with telling him that Hope had kissed her husband. Both Liam and Bill were surprised, Steffy said she wasn't. The implication being that Hope is a Logan and this is what they do.

Steffy left after hugging Liam goodbye. She'd grabbed her purse but we'd later learn that she accidentally left her phone behind. That's why she came back to the mansion. Steffy planned to sneak in and sneak out once she realized Bill and Luna were having a private conversation but when she realized their talk was growing decidedly less familial, she started intentionally eavesdropping and looking over at them on the couch.

She certainly wasn't prepared for Luna's shower of compliments toward Bill to turn into the young intern kissing the man that Steffy still believes is Luna's father. Remember, Luna's only shared with RJ that the second paternity test results revealed that she's not related to Bill. No one else outside of her and Bill knows so you can imagine Steffy's shock.

The two remained unaware that Steffy's in the house by the time the episode ended so we're all waiting to see if they're going to spot her in Friday's episode. Perhaps Steffy will get to hear Bill object once again to Luna kissing him. His not-daughter was already told to quit doing that and she's not listening. I wonder how far is too far before he starts rethinking his promise to help her through anything.

Whether they see Steffy or not though there's no way she's going to sit on this. At least one person is going to get told. I'm on the fence on whether that'll be Liam or Taylor. On the one hand, Steffy spilling the beans to her best friend makes sense as he's Bill's son and the two tend to tell each other what's afoot. On the other hand, telling Taylor opens the door to Luna getting the help Bill wants her to have. He's already suggested counseling and we now have a practicing, world-renowned psychiatrist back on the soap.
