The Bachelorette Season 21 has found its lead. Jenn Tran will get her chance to find her husband.

This makes The Bachelorette history. Tran is the first Asian-American lead on the series, and it’s about time! Franchise host Jesse Palmer shared the news along with former Bachelorette star Charity Lawson during the finale of the OG series.

Tran then stepped out on stage at the After the Final Rose ceremony of Joey Graziadei’s season. She was able to share what she’s looking for in a man.

Fans of the franchise have only just met Tran. She was on the most recent season of The Bachelor, searching for love with Joey Grazaidei. Tran got to the final five before being sent home.

What you need to know about Jenn Tran?

The Vietnamese-American speaks both languages and currently lives in Miami, Florida. The compassionate 25-year-old is currently studying to become a physician assistant. She loves reading, traveling, and paddleboarding.

When it comes to her perfect match, Tran shared that she is looking for someone who has a “big personality.” She wants to have fun, and she wants someone that she can “banter” with.

Becoming the first Asian-American lead on The Bachelorette

Tran is the first Asian-American lead on The Bachelorette. In fact, she’s the first lead on any of the Bachelor shows, although she says that she doesn’t see herself as a main character.

This is important for her, though. This is a chance to bring Asian representation on TV, which is something she wanted to see at a young age. When she was younger, there was a lot of stereotypes on TV, and she felt boxed in because of that. However, she wants to show that people don’t need to follow the stereotypes.
