The One Chicago shows have set their season finale dates, and expect some fantastic drama when each wraps up their shorter seasons!

The One Chicago shows got a jump on other network fare thanks to NBC starting the abbreviated 2023-24 seasons earlier than CBS or ABC. They have needed a few breaks between new episodes but are still doing well for the 13-episode runs.

Each show has packed in the usual mix of drama with a few cast entrances and exits. With NBC finally setting their schedules, it's confirmed that Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med will all end their seasons on Wednesday, May 22.

So, just what's in store for each Chicago show, and how will this play into the next seasons?

What's coming on the One Chicago finales?

Chicago Med starts off the night with "I Think I Know You, But Do I Really?" which has Ripley and Charles aiding a high-risk prisoner while Archer and Sean disagree on one of Margo's patients and Crockett has a big turn.

" Ripley and Charles treat a high-risk prisoner who may have dementia. Archer and Sean clash when a resident from Margo's facility lands in the E.D. Crockett receives shocking news."

It's questionable just what Crockett's big news could be, perhaps a promotion or some other turn, perhaps tied to his former protegee Zola, who was dismissed after too many screwups. Margo will have to handle the Archer and Sean fight, while it could be worrisome for Ripleya and Charles if the prisoner acts up. However it happens, it looks like Med is ready for another top finale.

Chicago Fire follows with "Never Say Goodbye," which focuses on Boden's fight to become Deputy Commissioner. Boden has been clashing with paramedic chief Robinson, which can affect his own career.

"Boden makes a decision that impacts the race for Deputy Commissioner. A tense call brings up painful memories for Carver and Damon. Mouch struggles to adjust to the new Truck."

With the word that Eamonn Walker is leaving the series, this is obviously setting up Boden's exit, hopefully by a promotion. It sounds like there's a typical exciting rescue and Mouch handling change, which is never easy for him. Whether it ends on a huge cliffhanger is unsure, but fans know Chicago Fire brings the heat for their season finales.

The night ends with Chicago PD as "More" is set to be Tracy Spiridakos's farewell. Her Hailey Upton is at the heart of a serial killer investigation that might lead to her leaving Chicago.

"As the months-long investigation into the serial killer reaches its close, Voight must outsmart the offender in a race against the clock. Upton must make a vital decision. "

The season has shown Upton having problems dealing with divorce and being involved in this serial killer case. The question is if Upton is leaving on her own terms or crossing the line in a bad way to set up her exit.

So fans can be set for these finales and ensure One Chicago ends this shorter season in grand style.

The One Chicago finales air on NBC on Wednesday, May 22, starting at 8/7c.
