The race is on to find Steffy before she dies on Bold and the Beautiful (preview)
By Sabrina Reed
The week of Aug. 26 on The Bold and the Beautiful is going to be a nail biter. That's because of the shocking events of Aug. 23's episode. Steffy, who admittedly shouldn't have followed Luna to her apartment, found herself face-to-face with the Il Giardino killer. Of course, she didn't know that at the time. She thought she was simply going to go speak to Luna about the inappropriate kiss she witnessed between her intern and Bill, the man she'd be under the impression was Luna's father.
What she got after finishing the glass of tea Luna gave her was a sudden, scary understanding that she may just be the young woman's next victim. See, Luna had been aware that the jig was about to be up. She knew that Steffy caught her kissing Bill. Though they hadn't been speaking for long when she offered Steffy tea, it was clear Luna had made a decision, whether or not her boss was deducing what she'd been up to, she was a loose end she had to take care of.
Steffy did reach the conclusion that Luna was the one who killed Tom so no one could get in the way of her having the life Bill promised her but by then the drugs had set in. She passed out which is worrisome but the preview let us breathe a sigh of relief. Unlike Tom and Hollis, Luna didn't kill her though that doesn't mean that she isn't planning on it.
Luna has put Steffy in a cage and she likely won't have to hold her hostage long. Her apartment building is scheduled to be demolished. Luna could simply leave her boss there and let the dynamite do her work for her. Given the fact that she's gone to great lengths to secure a future with Bill in her life, it's doubtful that Luna would be that broken up over killing her boyfriend's sister. We've slipped that far down the villainous pole.
This leaves the question of who is going to save Steffy and how. Based on the crumbs left behind by the writers this may be an all hands on deck situation. Steffy left her phone at Bill's. The whole reason she snuck back into his house after leaving was to grab it but after she saw Luna kiss him, she completely forgot about it.
Obviously, her phone is going to go off somehow. Perhaps Finn will call her. She told him not to as she said she needed space but he may not listen. In the preview, he's telling Ridge and Brooke that Steffy left town so her absence isn't going to be thought of as strange. But if Bill finds her phone that will get the family asking questions over her whereabouts. It also could be that Liam's the one who finds her phone and this sets off alarm bells for him.
The lynchpin in this story is RJ. Ever prone to disclosing his girlfriend's business as soon as she shares something with him, he filled his dad, mom, and aunt in on what Luna said about Bill and her needing each other. He spoke to how vulnerable she is and it was clear that he's concerned about Luna spending so much time with a man that's not her father.
While his family didn't seem to be worried about Luna staying at Bill's, she did after all build a relationship with him and she just found out that they're not related, RJ's feeling that something isn't right is likely to be brought up again. Perhaps even around Bill. We've reached a really intriguing part of this storyline now that Steffy's life is on the line and no one suspects Luna.
So far the young woman is being treated like someone who should be pitied because of all that she's had to go through in the last few weeks. How that flips should be worth the watch. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more coverage and let us know what you think about Luna's murder streak.
