We finally have an answer on who the Il Giardinoa killer is! Many a finger has been pointed and some in the fandom already guessed the likely culprit would be someone unexpected on The Bold and the Beautiful. Currently, Poppy Nozawa is in jail having been accused of the crime with the evidence stacked against her. But she's sworn that she has in no way harmed anyone. This has been backed up by her sister, Dr. Li Finnegan, who knows that Poppy can't even bring herself to kill a spider.

So who on the soap took the life of not one but two people? For the Nozawas, the culprit hits close to home. We know her as Forrester's kind, sweet intern who is always ready to put her best foot forward. A champion of honesty and someone, who up until this point, has been considered harmless. I'm talking about Luna Nozawa, Poppy's daughter and apparently the person who framed her.

The reveal came in Friday, Aug. 23's episode in the aftermath of Steffy spotting the young woman kissing Bill. Once again the billionaire told his not-daughter that she can't keep laying one on him. Recognizing that she upset him, Luna went to the mirror to wipe at her eyes and there she saw Steffy reflected in the glass. The Co-CEO had no idea her intern noticed her.

Luna went on talking to Bill and explained away her behavior by stating that she's never known a man like him and that it's probably the shock of her mother's arrest and the paternity test results that have her emotions all over the place. She made an excuse to leave unaware that Steffy would follow her to her old apartment.

What Steffy didn't realize is that she walked right into the spider's web. Luna tried to have the smiley disposition she's known for but she also made the decision to go get some tea from her refrigerator. She poured a glass for herself and one for Steffy as she listened to her boss speak. It was at this moment that we knew that things were about to go left for Steffy.

Slowly, Steffy began to piece together that something wasn't right about what she'd seen and not just because it wasn't appropriate regardless of the fact that Bill isn't Luna's father. She thought it was odd that Luna seemed sure that her mom wasn't innocent and wondered where the Luna she knows went. To be frank, this section lacked depth and spoke to how underwritten Luna is.

But as she was speaking and putting together the timeline of events around Luna's life since she was hired at Forrester, the picture began to come together. The intern went from spending time at the beach house with RJ to living at the Spencer Estate. It was an upgrade. Tom Starr threatened the life Luna would have as Bill's daughter. She couldn't have that so she killed him and Hollis was unfortunately collateral damage.

By the time Steffy landed on this conclusion, it was too late. The drug Luna put in her drink took effect. Thankfully, she didn't give her a dose that would kill her. The preview showed that Steffy was incapacitated long enough for Luna to put her in a cage. It's unclear what her plan is but the clock is ticking as her apartment building is set to be demolished!
