Two Bachelorette stars are in Special Forces: World's Toughest Test season 3 (Rumor)
By Sabrina Reed
Special Forces: World's Toughest Test has hooked FOX viewers since its debut on January 4, 2023. The incredibly grit driven survivalist series pushes its celebrity participants to the brink and puts them through their paces. Some have been able to withstand all the challenges put before them by the combat veterans in charge of their progress while others have had to tap out due to fear, exhaustion, or a sheer misunderstanding of just how strenuous and at times tortuous this show can be.
Season 3 has been delayed until 2025 but that doesn't mean there isn't already a bit a buzz about the upcoming installment. Rumors have been flying about who will be a part of the series this go around and a couple of names have come up though they've yet to be confirmed, one of which is Trista Sutter from The Bachelorette! The reality TV star was the runner-up on the inaugural season of The Bachelor and was the franchise's first leading lady when it was her turn to look for love.
She and Ryan Sutter, the man who swept her off her feet and has her forever rose, have been happily married since 2003 and have two kids together. Though it's been over 20 years since Bachelor Nation tuned into their love story, fans have kept up with their lives and the couple are very much still apart of this romantic universe. So, of course, when Ryan posted on Instagram a message about missing Trista the day before Mother's Day people began to wonder what was going on.
After some time passed Ryan did share an update with himself, Trista, and their kids on vacation in Mexico where he mentioned she was greatly missed. The two posts, however, seemed to have been explained by TMZ who've gotten down to the bottom of The Bachelorette star's absence. According to the outlet, sources with "direct knowledge" disclosed that she'd been filming Special Forces: World's Toughest Test season 3.
Trista's Instagram post from May 25 does speak to an opportunity presenting itself:
"An opportunity for perspective and personal growth presented itself and with the unconditional support of my family and friends, I chose myself and betterment, knowing that my stay-at-home-mom job and my kids end-of-the-school-year needs were in the best, most capable hands. My stoic husband who usually chooses privacy over posting, decided to share his love for me in messages that would find me in my travels. We look at Instagram like a digital diary. Most of the time, the world doesn’t pay too much attention. This time, he couldn’t say anything right and just about every news outlet picked up his “cryptic/confusing/attention-seeking/dramatic” pictures and captions. To me, they gave me exactly what my Words of Affirmation love language needed to get me through some serious self doubt and fear…and that’s all that matters."
Perhaps she was away testing her mettle. Trista has done a competition series before though not one as physically taxing as this one. She was in Dancing with the Stars' first season and came in 6th! As for Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, TMZ reports that she's not the lone Bachelorette in the season. She's rumored to be joined by Ali Manno (née Fedotowsky), the leading lady of season 10 who Bachelor Nation got to know in Jake Pavelka's season of The Bachelor.
Manno posted a video on her Instagram talking about her return home and how she couldn't wait to share with her fans what she'd been up to once she could. She also wished everyone a happy Memorial Day and thanked those who have or are serving in the military for all they do to protect American freedom.
Since we're still months away from Special Forces: World's Toughest Test season 3's premiere whether or not both Bachelorette stars are in the season won't be confirmed likely until promo stars ramping up. We'll keep you posted. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote and follow us on X!
