Dancing with the Stars season 33 is a few months away but we're excited nonetheless. Fall TV is when all of our favorite scripted dramas return but it's also when we get to see celebrities strut their stuff on the dancefloor in the hopes of taking home the Len Goodman mirrorball trophy.

Once again the dance competition series will be airing on ABC but Disney+ subscribers will be able to stream the show as it airs. As for Hulu subscribers, as usual, the show will be available to watch the day after the broadcast. We can anticipate Dancing with the Stars making its come back on Tuesday this fall likely in September. It'll air at 8 p.m. ET for a two hour block before ABC's new procedural High Potential makes its debut.

The cast has yet to be confirmed for season 33, but we do know Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will be hosting the competition once again. The two were delightful last season and the incorporation of the pair into opening dance routines was the kind of fresh and fun the show needed.

Gleb Savchenko shared that the pro dancers won't know which of them will be in the season until the last week in August. It's unfortunate that the wait is so long but it's possible that we may find out who will be in the celebrity line-up come July. Last year, July was when the celebrity dancers were revealed, so it's likely that ABC will follow the same announcement window.

As for the pro dancers, Savchenko also teased that the line-up could come with a "face-lift." He didn't give specifics only: "A friend of mine just said it to me yesterday. 'The show will definitely, at some point, get a facelift.' And facelift, meaning it has to be updated with maybe dancers or whatever."

Season 32 saw the debut of Rylee Arnold, the now 19 year old pro who had a good showing during the season partnered with Harry Jowsey. His moves weren't the best, but she was able to execute routines that spotlighted her talent as well as account for his lack of skills on the dancefloor. Koko Iwasaki was in a similar position when she was partnered with Vinny Guadagnino during her debut season in 2022.

With two women having been added to the pro line-up over the last two years, it stands to reason that we could get a new male dancer, potentially this season. Mark Ballas made his exit after season 31 so there is room for another man to join the fold.

All of the judges--Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough, and Carrie Ann Inaba--are expected to return for Dancing with the Stars season 33. We'll keep you posted as more news comes in. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote!
