Who's in Death and Other Details, the new Hulu mystery series?

Mandy Patinkin’s new Hulu series Death and Other Details is slated to begin s on Jan. 16 and it looks like a delightful crime comedy that is sure to bring in new fans. Besides the well known actor best known for The Princess Bride and Criminal Minds, who else is part of the Death and Other Details cast?

The show will be set aboard a cruise ship as Mandy’s character, Detective Rufus Cotesworth, is pulled into a murder investigation. Among his suspects is Violett Beane’s Imògene Scott, who might be a thief but insists she is not a killer. 

In the synopsis for the show, Hulu describes the show as a “locked-room murder mystery.” It is set aboard a Mediterranean ocean liner which boasts plenty of rich guests and weary crew members. 

For Scott to show that she did not commit the crime, she reluctantly begins working with the World’s Greatest Detective, who she detests, to find out who the real killer is.

The first two episodes will be airing back to back when the show premieres on Hulu. New episodes will then begin airing weekly before the finale on March 5, which means we will get two episodes for the finale. This means that audiences will be able to enjoy 10 episodes of the show.
