Who started the housefire in 911 season 7? (It wasn't who we initially thought!)

The 911 season 7 finale brought up a lot of questions. One of those was who started the fire. Was it Amir? Or was that too obvious?

The fire at the end of the previous 911 season 7 episode brought up a major question. Who started the house at Bobby and Athena’s house? It didn’t take long until the 911 season 7 finale brought up the question.

Caution: This post contains major spoilers from the 911 season 7 finale.

As Athena watched Bobby fight for his life, her captain showed up. It turned out that the fire started around the bedroom, and it looked like arson. They needed to figure out who did it.

Athena immediately realized that it had to be Amir. Amir had been in the house, which meant that he knew the layout. She didn’t want the rest of the police to follow the lead, though. Athena was going to catch Amir herself and she would get revenge.

Did Amir start the fire in 911?

Of course, the question was whether this was a coincidence or not. I don’t tend to believe in coincidences. Amir took a great interest in the house as he walked into it, and he asked a lot of questions about how long Athena had been there. He was in the house long enough to get an idea of the layout.

The question was whether he would put Athena’s life on the line. He wanted revenge against Bobby. Could he have wanted Bobby to feel the pain he did in the loss of his wife, or would he go directly after Bobby and not hurt an innocent life considering the work he did as a nurse?

Athena was sure it was Amir, and so she borrowed a neighbor’s car and went on the hunt for him. She even pulled Maddie into it, although Maddie had no idea what Athena was doing.

The 118 quickly caught onto the situation

It didn’t take long for Hen and Chim to realize that something was up when Athena was no longer in the hospital. Maddie also realized something was going on. So, Maddie called Chim to get answers and share information. Hen immediately realized what Athena was up to when all the pieces of Amir’s puzzle were put together.

It did seem too obvious to be Amir, especially considering the job he chose to do. There was someone else who came up in the episode who seemed a little suspicious. Remember the neighbor’s car Athena borrowed? Well, that neighbor just turned up and apparently had lived in the area for 11 years. She lived just four doors up and the two had never met. If you ask me, that didn’t sound right.

Who did set the fire in 911?

Remember the cartel from the previous episode? They turned up in the 911 season 7 finale. Amir knew the men immediately as they turned up at his house and made it clear they had to be the ones to burn Athena and Bobby’s house down. He handed himself over to the cartel while Athena called it in.

It wasn’t the cartel after all. It was the guy who had given Amir and Bobby the ride, but ended up taking them to the cartel. He wanted revenge for the death of his grandson.

Athena was able to start a fire, but that caught Amir in the blaze. Of course, he looked around at the fire and seemed to consider staying to join his wife. Athena wouldn’t allow that.

With answers as to who started the fire, eyes were on whether Bobby would pull out of it alive. At least there was one answer to questions we had.
