We've made it to Week 4 of Strictly Come Dancing already! How is it Week 4? Wasn't it just last week that this year's couples were paired together for the twentieth anniversary series of BBC's staple Saturday Night TV show? Apparently not, because we are now four weeks in with two eliminations already in the rear-view mirror.

Last week's episode saw Toyah Wilcox and Neil Jones eliminated from the competition after a Dance-Off with Paul and Karen. The latter couple returned this week with a glitzy Quickstep that earned them praise from the judges for their improvement, but what else went down as the competition heated up (and yes, we mean heated up!).

Here are all the Strictly spoilers, results, and scores from the Week 4 Saturday Night show and all that took place on the dancefloor.

Strictly spoilers and results: Week 4 Leaderboard

It's been an unusual night for Strictly Come Dancing. There were a lot of positive reviews for the majority of the couples and then some unexpectedly harsh comments for dances that went well. Tasha and Aljaž scored highly once again, landing themselves atop the Leaderboard with a country-inspired Charleston, while Jamie and Michelle brought the house down with a party Salsa and Wynne and Katya delivered a committed Tango, which earned both respective couples second place.

Fans weren't thrilled with the way that the judges responded to Sarah and Vito's beautiful Foxtrot as the duo landed much lower on the Leaderboard than some couples who didn't dance better, according to viewers. Meanwhile, Montell and Johannes delivered a stunning Viennese Waltz that may well have stolen the show, earning high praise from the judges and giving them the spotlight they deserved.

Here are the results from the Strictly Week 4 Saturday night show, the scores, and the Leaderboard we were left with:

  • Tasha and Aljaž danced the Charleston - 39
  • Jamie and Michelle danced the Salsa - 34
  • Wynne and Katya danced the Tango - 34
  • Montell and Johannes danced the Viennese Waltz - 33
  • Shayne and Nancy danced the Cha Cha - 30
  • JB and Amy danced the Rumba - 30
  • Chris and Dianne danced the Salsa - 30
  • Pete and Jowita danced the Quickstep - 29
  • Sam and Nikita danced the Samba - 28
  • Sarah and Vito danced the Foxtrot - 27
  • Paul Merson and Karen Hauer danced the Quickstep - 24
  • Nick and Luba danced the Charleston - 21
  • Punam and Gorka danced the Jive - 20

Who is in danger on Strictly Come Dancing Week 4?

This series of Strictly Come Dancing has proven to be an interesting one thus far. We often talk about ties on the Leaderboard favouring the people at the bottom but last week's installment had a lot of ties and yet the Dance-Off was actually between the bottom two on the Leaderboard. With that in mind, it might be easy for us to say that Punam and Gorka, and Nick and Luba are in danger this week - because they are, very much so.

However, there are other things to consider here too. For starters, we have two major ties on the Leaderboard near the top, and one of them is a three-way tie - which significantly improves the chances of the people at the bottom escaping (as they have more points now). Furthermore, there has been a huge surge of support for Punam due to her having a bit of an off-night and the fact that the judges were a bit harsh on her in particular.

The ties also put the people in the middle of the Leaderboard in more jeopardy too. Let's not forget that Kym Marsh notoriously ended up in the Dance-Off in Week 4 despite scoring extremely highly in 2022 (she then made it all the way to the Quarter-Finals). So it could happen here again.

Taking all of that into account, we're predicting a Dance-Off between Nick and Luba, and one of the couples in the lower end of the Leaderboard (with an outside chance that one of the couples in the three-way 30 tie could make a shock Dance-Off appearance).

Update, Sunday October 13: The Dance-Off was indeed between Nick and Luba, and Shayne and Nancy (who made a shock Dance-Off appearance despite being fourth on the Leaderboard). The judges unanimously saved Shayne and Nancy, eliminating Nick and Luba from the competition.
