What a ride The Celebrity Traitors season 2 has been! On what other show could you see Heartstopper's Bash Croft, EastEnders legend Ross Kemp, The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey, comedy icon Miranda Hart, Coronation Street legend Julie Hesmondhalgh, and the legendary Richard E. Grant all doubting, accusing, and being suspicious of each other?! Exactly, nowhere. That's The Traitors for you!

Claudia Winkleman welcomed more famous hopefuls to the castle for another round of mischief as the Faithfuls hoped to oust the Traitors as soon as possible - and they have achieved one of the highest success rates thus far. But the majority of the Traitors remain, making for a very interesting penultimate episode and Final. With that in mind, here's when the juggernaut BBC One series ends.

The Celebrity Traitors series 2 final release date and more

The penultimate episode of The Celebrity Traitors season 2 airs on BBC One next Thursday, October 29, at 8:00 p.m. GMT. The Final airs the very next night, arriving on BBC One next Friday, October 30, at 8:00 p.m. GMT. Both episodes will also be available to stream live on BBC iPlayer on their respective nights.

Needless to say, fans are ready to see how it all ends. While there has been some discussion about this season being less edge-of-seat and "memeable" than the first, it's also received praise for how well hidden in plain sight that the Traitors are. Despite Richard E. Grant's infamous confession that he was a Traitor early on, the rest of them have stayed well-hidden, with Hannah lasting longer than the Faithful expected before her eventual banishment, James Acaster and Maya Jama remaining relatively unnoticed, and new recruit Kenny being impossible to spot (as he was such a good Faithful early on). So, this might just be the Traitors' game to win... again.

It's going to be a tense final few episodes as the population of the iconic castle begins to whittle down to just a few more players, making the Final itself a very interesting one. We don't yet know who will be standing at the final Roundtable when Claudia announces those results and brings the show to a close but we do know that the show will be going all out, as the Final is the longest episode in Traitors UK franchise history, with a 1 hour and 20 minutes runtime - wrapping up at 9:20 p.m. GMT.

Will Maya, James A, and Kenny do the unthinkable and remain hidden until the very end, or will Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, Bash Croft, Romesh Ranganathan, Joanne McNally, James Blunt, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, or Sharon Rooney get to the bottom of at least one of their nefarious schemes first?

We'll have to wait and see, but there is no denying that The Celebrity Traitors once again kept us hooked right to the very end. We have no doubt that the next two episodes will do the same!!
