The Celebrity Traitors has returned to BBC One for its second season, which isn't surprising at all considering how overwhelmingly successful the first season was. And, just like that first season, the sophomore installment is equally as star-studded, with some of the most recognizable stars across British, Irish - and, yes, US - television.

Among the new Faithfuls is Sebastian Croft, a.k.a. Bash. The actor and singer has a unique plan to quietly figure out who the Traitors are and he has been doing a really good job so far, remaining out of the core drama and observing from the sidelines. But he has found himself in the crosshairs of the Traitors, particularly Maya Jama, who suggested to her co-conspirators that they remove him off the board.

For a younger audience, Bash is one of the most recognizable stars on The Celebrity Traitors as he appeared in one of the biggest shows of the 2020s. But if you don't recognize him, here's all you need to know.

Who is Sebastian "Bash" Croft on The Celebrity Traitors?

Bash Croft is an actor and singer best known for his role as Ben Hope in Netflix's Heartstopper. Although he had been acting for years, gaining notoriety as young Ned Stark in Game of Thrones, it was the Netflix show that turned him (along with the rest of the cast) into overnight global stars.

The toxic ex-boyfriend of Charlie Spring, Ben played a major role in the series' first two seasons, treating Charlie horribly before attempting to get him back when he found happiness with Nick Nelson. Croft was particularly vocal about the toxic nature of the character, deeming himself the president of the "Ben Hope Hate Club".

Prior to that, he also starred in Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans and appeared in episodes of Penny Dreadful and Love, Death and Robots. He also appeared in the music video for Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé's version of "Baby, it's Cold Outside" (alongside future House of the Dragon stars Emily Carey and Harry Collet) and starred in an episode of Doom Patrol as Charles Rowland, one of the Dead Boy Detectives, which was supposed to act as a backdoor pilot to the Netflix series Dead Boy Detectives (but the studio eventually decided to recast almost every role for the show).

After Heartstopper, he starred in horror movie Dampyr, fantasy film Wonderwell, Prime Video's How to Date Billy Walsh, and Sky horror comedy Get Away. On the TV side of things, he has since starred in BBC historical drama Dope Girls and, now, is a regular on The Celebrity Traitors.

But acting isn't the only talent that Sebastian Croft has, as he is also a singer. Going by "Bash Croft", he has released three singles. His debut outing, "Tokyo", was released on streaming platforms in 2025, with his second single, "Better than ever", coming out earlier this year.

His third single, titled "Pretty People", has just been released, perfectly coinciding with the star's stint on The Celebrity Traitors. And, although this goes without saying, it's extremely catchy and the music video is captivating. Watch it below:

The Celebrity Traitors is currently airing on BBC One and streaming on BBC iPlayer.
