The Battles continued in The Voice last night, but now it’s time for a short break. There isn’t a new episode of the NBC series tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The break is pretty self-explanatory when you consider what is going on in the country today. It’s Election Night, and we knew that the broadcast networks wouldn’t air coverage of TV shows throughout the night. One, that takes away from something important for the country, and two, it would mean lower linear ratings as other networks air Election coverage.

It’s not just The Voice taking the night off. The Irrational will also be off tonight, and we’ll see all other networks take time off for the Election coverage. Yes, even The CW is opting for a night off.

When will new episodes of The Voice return

The good news is that this is just a short break. NBC will return with a new episode of The Voice next week.

The Voice season 26, episode 12 will air on Monday, Nov. 11. We will then get another new episode next Tuesday, Nov. 12. The schedule is back in order for now. We are getting closer to the finals, though, so expect the season to come to an end soon.

This is a great time to play catch-up if you fell behind on the series. All episodes that have aired so far are available to stream on Peacock. This includes all those exciting steals that have happened over recent episodes, including the not-so-surprising steal for Snoop Dogg in last week’s episode, which saw Austyns Stancil choose Snoop over the other two coaches wanting to steal him.

The Voice returns on Monday, Nov. 11 at 8/7c on NBC. Catch up on the series on Peacock.
