There's a new episode of Abbott Elementary tonight! How to tune in to season 4 episode 3 and what to expect

Wohoo! It's always a good time when there's a new episode of Abbott Elementary and thankfully we're getting one tonight on ABC. Last week season 4 debuted with two back-to-back episodes to celebrate the premiere of the new season. However now, we're back to one episode a week. So when can you start watching and what's to come in tonight's episode of Abbott Elementary season 4?

Abbott Elementary season 4 episode 3, "Class Pet," airs tonight, Oct. 23, 2024, starting at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Those of you on the west coast will want to set your alarms for 6:30 p.m. PT, while Midwesterners will need to get the popcorn ready a little later. We shared the episode release times by time zone below:

• East coast: 9:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 23
• West coast: 6:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Oct. 23
• Midwest: 8:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Oct. 23

What is Abbott Elementary's "Class Pet" episode about?

Alright, so what can we expect from tonight's episode? Well, in case you haven't been able to guess from the title, the school is getting some budget to have class pets. How will the staff be able to handle them? Will all the teachers be for it? I mean, this is Janine's idea so we know she's happy about bringing in some little critters to the school. Check out the official synopsis below:

"Janine gets a budget for class pets, but Melissa is resistant to taking on the added work and responsibility for her room’s guinea pig. An IT rep from the school district arrives to set up new computers."

There's not much else we know about the new episode. However, the promotional images to give us a little more insight on what's to come. We see actor Matthew Law is going to come in and play the IT rep from the school district. Clearly from the second photo, the distric just sent the computers and they were left a mess at the school's door. Because of course. Hopefully these are actually good ones so the students can use them!
