What was Tommy's confession and what happened in 911 season 8, episode 6?
911 season 8, episode 6 brought an episode that was all about confessions. Tommy had a big one for Buck, but what did it lead to?
Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for 911 season 8, episode 6.
To mark their six-month anniversary, Buck and Tommy went out to a restaurant. As the two talked about past partners, Tommy had a surprise confession. He was engaged to a woman.
That woman wasn’t just any woman either. It was Abby. That led to Buck having a lot of personal questions as he felt weird that his Abby was also Tommy’s Abby, but with the help of Maddie and Josh, he managed to deal with the weirdness.
Buck asked Tommy to move in with him in 911
Buck ended up sharing a confession of his own. He told Tommy all about Abby, and how she was the most transformative relationship of his life. At least, up to his relationship with Tommy. Before Abby, he jumped from woman to woman and didn’t think of settling down. Abby changed that.
And now Tommy has changed things against for him. He ended the speech asking Tommy to move in with him.
Tommy broke up with Buck in 911 season 8, episode 6
Those who didn’t like Tommy and Buck together will be happy to see that they’ve broken up. It’s actually a little disappointing as someone who loved seeing Tommy’s change from Hen’s origin story. I also loved seeing someone actually care for Buck.
It wasn’t that he didn’t love Buck enough. His decision not to move in with Buck actually came from the fear, in a way. Tommy knows how this ends. He’d move in and then Buck would do something unintentionally that would hurt Tommy and they would break up. Tommy didn’t want to see that happen.
Well, instead of risking behind hurt, Tommy decided to hurt Buck. They ended the episode broken up. Is there a chance that Tommy will come back asking for forgiveness?
I do want to put it out there that I know there are going to be fans happy that the relationship has come to an end. Can I just remind everyone that there is a real man behind this character? Can people please be more respectful to Lou Ferringo Jr. There’s no need for the toxicity online that I’ve been seeing.
