It may be the week before Christmas, but broadcast TV still has us covered with some great shows. Check out everything arriving on TV tonight, Thursday, Dec. 19.

This week is a big one for CBS, as there are a couple of shows still to air their winter finales. Meanwhile, FOX will bring us a Hell’s Kitchen special, and there are plenty of other holiday specials across the other networks, with reruns of some if you happened to miss them last week.

Ghosts, Hell’s Kitchen, and more

FOX has a two-hour special of Hell’s Kitchen. It all starts with a special performance from the Yale Whiffenpoofs, an acapella singing group. Now the chefs will need to create a dish that sings, and it’s all for a high-stakes dinner service. Of course, we’re still in the regular season of Hell’s Kitchen, even with a Christmasy feeling to the series, so there is a chef on the chopping block.

If you’re more in the mood for comedy, you’ll want to tune in at the earlier time of 8 p.m. ET/PT for Ghosts. There’s a two-episode Christmas special of the comedy series, and we all know how much the ghosts of Woodstone Manor love this time of year. It’s almost as exciting as Halloween for them! Sam and Jay are getting ready to host Jay’s parents and sister for Christmas dinner. Well, the water heater has other plans. Will the basement ghosts be able to help save Christmas?

Before the Elsbeth winter finale, there is also a Christmas special. I would prefer Elsbeth being pulled forward an hour first, but hopefully the fans are loyal enough to keep this show on the air! In place of Matlock, which aired its winter finale last Thursday, there is Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas.

Speaking of a Nashville Christmas, if you happened to miss Little Big Town’s Christmas at the Opry, there’s some great news. NBC will have a rerun of that on tonight, so you don’t need to feel like you’ve completely missed out on something spectacular and fun.
