With Christmas and the New Year celebrations over, it’s time for the broadcast networks to get back to normalcy. Here’s a look at everything airing on network TV tonight, Friday, Jan. 3

Not all networks are getting back to normal. CBS will take a little longer considering the network took longer to air fall finales. However, we will see NBC start airing new episodes of its top comedies. This is not a night to miss TV.

Happy’s Place, Inside the NFL, and more

Let’s start with a look at NBC, which will bring back its Friday night comedies, Happy’s Place and Lopez vs. Lopez. The former will see Bobbie get ready for her night as emcee for the anniversary night at the tavern. Well, it looks like Gabby is after that spot as well, and Isabella won’t help matters by getting into a bet with Steve about who will end up with the position.

Lopez vs Lopez - Season 3

In Lopez vs. Lopez, we’ll see George befriend Rosie’s ex-fiance, which is sure to create some hilarious drama. Meanwhile, Mayan will attempt to help a customer problem, but we all know that she should have probably stayed away!

Inside the NFL will bring the highlights of Week 17 in the regular season. This is going to come to an end soon with the regular season ending next week. It’s a great way to look back at the week to see some of the best plays, best touchdowns, and even best calls by the refs.

If you want a night of drama, CBS has you covered with some reruns. After a new episode of The Greatest #AtHome Videos, there are reruns of Fire Country and SWAT. Yes, CBS is putting SWAT on, as it will take over that timeslot come Jan. 31.

Gang Unit
“Gang Unit” – When a spree of brutal stash house robberies spills into L.A., 20-Squad must team up with the sheriff’s department’s gang unit to unmask a violent crew who leaves no witness alive, on S.W.A.T., Friday, Oct. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. The SWAT rerun is of the season 8 premiere, which saw the arrival of new team members. Hicks wasn’t sure about one of them, but she’s proven to be a valuable asset to the team. Annie Ilonzeh has been upped to series regular for the rest of season 8, so you’ll want to tune into the premiere to rewatch her introduction if you can’t remember it.
