What's on TV tonight? (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW on Oct. 17, 2024)
Thursday, Oct. 17 is a night a lot of people have been waiting for. Let’s take a look at why when it comes to broadcast TV.
Tonight is the night for CBS to premiere its Thursday night slat. That starts with the Young Sheldon spin-off Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. You will not want to miss this if you’ve come to love Georgie and Mandy as much as we have.
Matlock is back, more TGIT, and much more
Thursday is becoming a big night across the five broadcast networks. For CBS, it’s not just about Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. We get a full night of new episodes, with Ghosts season 4 and Elsbeth season 2 premiering. If you’ve been waiting for the second episode of Matlock, you are in a lot of luck. That happens tonight!
Over on ABC, we have a full night of TGIT drama. It starts with 911, which will see Hen and Karen go through a hearing to get their foster care license back. Chimney and Maddie have been a great help, but it’s not been easy for Karen and Hen. All they want to do is help children in the foster care family, and one vindictive person is causing problems.
What about those who need a bit of intense, ripped from the headlines drama? Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU kick of Thursday nights for NBC. You will want to stick around for the third episode of Found afterward.
