What's on TV tonight? (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW on Oct. 9, 2024)
Another night is here, and that means more primetime TV to get excited about. Wednesday, Oct. 9 is packed with a mixture of all the genres.
ABC brings another episode of The Golden Bachelorette while FOX has a night of The Masked Singer and The Floor, for those who love reality TV and game shows. What if you prefer a bit of drama in your life? NBC has you covered on Wednesdays.
One Chicago, The Masked Singer, and more
There is a lot on tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 9. There really is something for everyone, and that can mean the listings get a little overwhelming. What are you going to watch live, and what will you record or watch on streaming the following day?
For the drama fans, NBC has a whole night of One Chicago drama. That starts with Med and then runs through Fire and PD. There is a lot going on in all three shows, but let’s focus on Chicago Fire for now. After all, it’s Severide and Kidd we’re concerned about. Someone is getting fired from Firehouse 51, and it’s not clear who.
If you’re more in the mood for a competition show, FOX has another night of The Masked Singer. The three remaining celebrities from Group A will perform again. It’s all about songs that are near and dear to the contestants, and we’ll see another celebrity unmasked and sent home. There’s a special performance by Panic! At the Disco tonight.
The CW also has a night of drama. Are you loving Sophie Turner in Joan? Another episode airs tonight. In this episode, Joan starts to fall for Boise, who recognizes her talents. While she enjoys her time as a theif in Spain, she struggles with the scrutiny she’s under as a mother.
Are you a comedy fan? Abbott Elementary season 4 premieres tonight on ABC. There's the creation of a new golf course close to the school. The teachers need to come up with a creative solution to deal with that while there's a HR representative visiting.
