We’re looking forward to the start of another weekend. The great news is the networks give us something to mark that, and tonight, Friday, Nov. 8, is packed with drama and sports.
FOX has the night of sports. After initially starting with a rerun of the Accused season 2 premiere, the network will run into college football coverage. UCLA hosts Iowa in the Big Ten matchup, with live coverage happening from 9 p.m. ET.
Fire Country, Shark Tank, and more
CBS has a packed night of drama. While it all starts off with SWAT, we have to look at the new episode of Fire Country. There were some great parallels in the previous episode as we watched Manny deal with life in the prison fire program and Bode start his career as a fire cadet. Now it’s time for a daring elevator rescue while there’s a power outage caused by the high temperatures.
There is also a new episode of Shark Tank. This episode will see an interesting pitch that involves plant-based seafood. We have plant-based everything else, so why not seafood? Will the Sharks go for it? What about an intelligent chamber for growing mushrooms. Some of these business ideas can seem a little crazy at first, so it’ll be interesting to see the explanation behind them.
Over on The CW, we have Inside the NFL and then Joan. Joan has a big episode as it is the series finale. Joan and Boisie come up with a new and bigger plan, but Joan has something else up her sleeve. It’s a plan that involves Kelly. Will she get a chance to tell Boisie the truth, or will she end up captured or dead first?
