‘Shameless’: Emma Kenney posts adorable pictures with new Baby Franny

Emma Kenney, who plays Debbie Gallagher on Showtime’s hit series Shameless, took to Twitter to post four precious photos of herself playing with the baby who will be Franny in Season 8. After the reveal that Liam Gallagher was being replaced by an older boy, fans were under the impression that there would be a time jump in Season 8. These new photos show a Franny who’s maybe a year older than the Franny we saw in Season 7. So what could this mean for a possible time jump?
In the tweet, Kenney referred to the baby as “Lil Franny” and it seems like the two of them are having a blast playing together on set. How cute is this new little Franny?!

Changes in Season 8
We don’t know much about changes coming to Season 8 other than the addition of Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl), who will play Nessa. Showtime has described the character as “a strong, tough and smart lesbian who is a tenant in Fiona’s (Rossum) newly purchased apartment building.” It was also shared that Fiona and Nessa “will develop a strong friendship.”
Based on photos that have been shared on social media, it also seems as though Ethan Cutkosky, who plays Carl Gallagher on the show, will be back in Chicago with his siblings, though in this photo shared by Cameron Monaghan (Ian Gallagher), Carl is still in uniform.
