Will Big Brother 19 showmance Jessica and Cody get married?

A slim majority thinks there’s a BB19 wedding in the future.

In the Big Brother season 19 house, things are progressing roughly as expected. Which is to say, Paul is still decidedly in control, “Maven” (Matt and Raven) are shockingly oblivious to the game and “Jalex” (Jason and Alex) are causing more chaos than they can handle.

Meanwhile, in the outside world, where Cody and Jessica exist since being evicted, the oddsmakers are placing bets on whether the couple will get hitched.

At the most recent polling, 57 percent of Gold Derby respondents believe that Cody and Jessica are will get married. Previous Big Brother showmances, such as Jeff and Jordan (season 11), Rachel and Brendon (season 12 and 13) and Danielle and Dominic (also season 13) have gone the distance, but whose to say what will be in store for Jody? Their us-and-against-the-world romance has already received criticism for fairy tale editing from CBS, namely that the network scrubbed some of their more terrible, transphobic and potentially racist comments to make it easier to root for them down the stretch.

In any case, they did seem totally into each other and if nothing else, they’ll likely be able to leverage their coupledom into another reality show stint. Perhaps Amazing Race? But then again, maybe Jessica has learned from letting Cody ruin her game.
