Riverdale Winter Premiere Preview: Riverdale High is about to deal with an influx of Serpents and the arrival of the South Side’s students won’t go over well!

As The CW’s breakout hit of the season returns this January, Riverdale High will become under invasion as the direct result of the decision to shut down Southside High. With the South Side’s high school closed, Jughead and the rest of the Serpents are forced to transfer to Riverdale High to attend class alongside all of the North Side kids – which does not go over with anyone on either side of things.

However, the arrival of the Serpents is far from the most pressing matter on the minds of Archie, Veronica and Betty who begin 2018 dealing with their own respective personal drama.

After firmly inserting herself into the business affairs of her parents Hiram and Hermoine, Veronica must prove to them both that she is indeed on board with their plans for SoDale which could get complicated when Archie is asked to spy on Hiram in order to uncover info on his business dealings.

Meanwhile, Betty decides to make it her mission to track down her long-lost brother Chic (guest star Hart Denton), which is a decision we’re sure her parents won’t be too fond of.
