#7 Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Release date: November 16
Cast: Johnny Depp, Ezra Miller, Zoe Kravitz, Katherine Waterston

The first chapter of the Fantastic Beasts franchise collected $814 million worldwide and a score of 74% at Rotten Tomatoes, so fans are definitely anticipating the arrival of its sequel. However, many fans have protested the involvement of Johnny Depp in The Crimes of Grindelwald. Will this hurt the movie’s chances of accumulating as much as the original at the box office? I think it will, but not too badly. After all, Harry Potter fans won’t be missing this! So while it may not break $800 million, it’s a safe bet that The Crimes of Grindelwald will still be in the top ten highest grossing movies of 2018.
