In the latest episode of Shameless, Ian continues his crusade for the South Side’s LGBTQ+ youth as Fiona hits a legal roadblock. Here’s everything you need to know.

More from Showtime

It’s all happening for the Gallaghers, and in the latest episode of Shameless, the chaos will keep happening until Frank interferes with Ian’s tour of goodwill and Fiona’s served a lawsuit from the man who fell off of her building. Obviously, “it’s all happening” could use a tweak in the opposite direction, but we’re a mere three episodes away from the finale of Season 8. It’s all downhill from here.

Even though Ian has made quite a mark as the ambassador of the South Side’s queer youth (hey, it’s not every day one takes down a priest with the power of obscene chanting and then saves his life), his goodhearted endeavor might hit a snag by the name of Frank. Shameless is no stranger to Frank stepping on his children’s toes, and it’s not too far fetched to assume Frank would attempt to cash-in on his son’s newfound fame in the wake of his own failed business venture. Elsewhere, Fiona faces the consequences of the law as the man who fell off the roof of her building bites back with a lawsuit. Between her wonky interactions with Ford and her incessant stressors as a building manager, our girl can’t seem to catch the break she so desperately craves and deserves.

Will Frank try to aid Ian’s leadership of the LGBTQ+ community, or will he be sticking his head in other places he doesn’t belong in pursuit of money? What’s next for Kev, V, and Svetlana after Svet stands up to their oppressive dominance? Did Lip and Carl just make their lives more complicated? And can Fiona fight back against the unlawful lawsuit? Be sure to watch the all-new episode this weekend to find out the answers to these questions, and check out a first look at the episode in the trailer below!
