Scandal Season 7, Episode 12 is titled Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself, and we have everything you need to know about what that means.

Attention Gladiators! Grab your biggest glass of wine, popcorn and get ready for some serious plot twists in the 2-hour crossover event! So what can you expect from Scandal Season 7, Episode 12, “Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself”?

After this quick little February hiatus, March is here and with it Scandal returns for the Shondaland world-colliding crossover we’ve all been waiting for but only partially dared to dream about (aka How to Get Away with Scandal)!

More from ABC

Aside from the the fact that your How to Get Away with Murder faves are making their way to DC, what’s particularly interesting about this latest episode of Scandal is that the previous one could have just as easily operated as a finale in it’s tidiness at the end. The fact that there’s more story to tell as we see Olivia (Kerry Washington) return to the light and the fact that Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) is involved in that in some way is nothing short of phenomenal. And while we’re not thrilled to see the Scandal‘s end nearing closer and closer, we are excited that Shonda Rhimes’ characters do in fact exist in the same universe.

Unfortunately Olivia and Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) won’t be crossing paths as well this week but we’re sure that if Olivia ever needs medical attention in Seattle there’s only one hospital and one surgeon she’d be willing to see. Besides, it’s not as if Grey’s Anatomy is being left out of the crossover fun! But for now we’ll settle for seeing to warriors joining forces.

At the end of the previous episode of How to Get Away with Murder, we saw Liv in Annalise’s turf. So what exactly brings these amazing ladies together?

The official synopsis for  (S7E12) “Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself” states:

"In the midst of moving on from the White House, Olivia gets an unexpected visitor in criminal defense attorney Annalise Keating, who seeks her help in fast-tracking a judicial reform class action to the United States Supreme Court. However, after Olivia’s recent fall from political grace, it’s going to be more challenging than ever to get the support they need."

In a season that has been focused on the battle for Olivia’s soul, perhaps it’s not such a long-shot to hope that her latest redemption isn’t as short-lived this time. However, if Annalise is looking for DC’s best fixer, there is no doubt she’s come to right the place! And what better way for Olivia to move on from her run as “the most powerful person in the world” than to get back to her roots?
