Deadliest Catch Season 14 premieres next month on Discovery and it’s going to be like no other season. The exclusive look at the promo has already sent shivers of excitement down my spine and it’s certain to make your friends who have never seen it before catch up right away!
This is the roughest, toughest, most competitive crab season ever. Bairdi Fishery reopens with stakes higher than ever before, seeing more money put into the prize pot to push it to a $120-million bounty. Yes, this is something everyone is fighting for and the captains will take to the seas and face their ever-changing conditions. Oh, and there are some Coast Guard rescues and crew injuries along the way, as everyone sets their sights on new records.

Tensions run high within the teams, especially as one man goes overboard in the middle of an adventure, leading to a search and rescue effort. But while the risks are higher, the rewards are certainly going to be worth it.
200th episode milestone
Deadliest Catch Season 14 will also see the 16-time Emmy Award-winning series reach a huge milestone for any TV series; reaching the 200th episode.

In celebration of the landmark achievement, the series will perform a feat it has never done before: a live episode broadcast. The captains will join host Matt Rogers for Deadliest Catch Live: The Bait just before the premiere of Season 14 at 8 p.m. ET on April 10.
They will then discuss some of their biggest moments and memories of during their time on Deadliest Catch, followed by sneak peeks of some of the most hair-raising moments in the upcoming season. It’s a must for all veteran and new Deadliest Catch fans.
