Celebrity Big Brother winner joins The Bold and the Beautiful cast

Big Brother contestants routinely become cast members on the soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, and now the Celebrity Big Brother winner has joined the ranks.

Marissa Jaret Winokur, who was the first season Celebrity Big Brother winner, is about to appear on another show. A report by Entertainment Weekly and a Twitter post from The Bold and the Beautiful have confirmed the news.

Winokur is hot off winning the reality competition show and will now take a turn as a guest-actor on The Bold and the Beautiful this spring. This past fall, viewers may have seen houseguests from Big Brother 19 making appearances as well. It has almost become a tradition to cross-promote the reality competition with the soap.

When will Celebrity Big Brother winner appear on the soap?

Marissa Jaret Winokur is slated to appear on the may 15 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Winokur has already filmed the episode, so CBS will likely advertise her special appearance at some point. There is a lot of possible cross-promotion to work with here. It’s possible that CBS might even use it to spur more interest in Big Brother 20. That installment of the show will debut in summer 2018.

It seems that Winokur had a good time shooting the soap, according to her interview with EW. Now she has hinted at wanting to be on a soap opera due to her experience with The Bold and the Beautiful.

"“Oh my gosh. I literally left and called my manager to say, wait, I want to be on a soap opera. It’s way harder than anyone made it look. It was so like theater for me. It was the most at home I’ve ever been on a set.”"

Big Brother 20 is coming soon

There is good news on the horizon for fans of the hit CBS reality competition show. Casting has already begun for Big Brother 20, meaning it won’t be too much longer until the BB20 cast gets revealed. It was good that CBS treated fans with a winter installment of the show, but it might not be until the end of June when the season premiere of Big Brother 20 finally hits the network.

While there are a lot of Big Brother 20 rumors, nothing has been confirmed about the new season yet. The producers and casting directors are keeping a tight lid on the ideas, including whether past houseguests might return for another shot at the $500,000 prize. Until more information becomes available, viewers can tune in to The Bold and the Beautiful next month to see the Celebrity Big Brother winner show off her acting chops.
